Bower Place offers a unique blend of shopping and culture. In addition to the current anchor stores Hudson’s Bay, H&M, Toys "R" Us, Marshall's, and Shopper’s Drug Mart, Bower Place is pleased to host the family-owned and Alberta-based Sunterra Market. With its large barn doors, Southeast-facing patio, and tantalizing fresh bakery smells, the market perfectly supplements the 300- seat multicultural food court.
Bower Place is managed by QuadReal Property Group, a global operating and development company headquartered in Western Canada. This management group takes great pride in redesigning shopping centres so they offer a dynamic and engaging experience for customers. They are eco-conscious and firm believers in being one step ahead of the game in creating a healthy sustainable community. Preference is given to green cleaning products, high-efficiency technology, reusing construction materials, and providing hybrid and eco-friendly vehicle parking options in the newly renovated East Parking Lot.

Bower Place offers a unique blend of shopping and culture. Upon entering the Great Indoors you’re greeted with live plant walls, beautiful lighting and pergolas, an updated new modern décor, and a large blend of local and national brand stores.
What can guests (local or visiting) expect to experience?
No matter which entrance you take, you will be treated to tantalizing sights and smells, like freshly baked Cinnzeo cinnamon buns, fresh baked goods at Sunterra Market, and brewing Starbucks coffee. Many love to simply sit and people-watch from one of the plentiful seating areas which also have cell phone charging stations. Wander through one of the nationally known retail stores, chat with the friendly staff at the customer service centre or eat something delicious while sitting in front of the cozy food court fireplace. Bower Place is cool and clean in the summer, warm and cozy in the winter, and designed so customers can genuinely enjoy the great indoors all year long.
What is new or upcoming?
In 2005, Bower Place unveiled the life-size statue of an RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) officer beside his horse to honour four constables killed in action in Mayerthorpe, Alberta. To ensure the RCMP is respectfully presented to the public, this statue has recently been relocated to undergo refurbishing. Bower Place is planning a rededication of this important memorial statue in March 2023.
The opening of the new northwest entrance in 2023 generates an exciting new list of amazing stores for our customers to explore and shop at, one of the new tenants includes a large Motion Fitness gym.
